This woman is like pickle girl but she's afraid of balloons.

I feel kind of sorry for him.

Heeheeheehee this is funny stuff. I love it when he says, "I'm not dumb," - like he's in denial.

This song came up on the Launch station (adult alternative) I was listening to, and I thought, "Hmmm, this song isn't too bad..." in my opinion, of course--I don't really care if you think my taste is a bit off. Anyway, like more than 50 percent of the time, I can't understand fully what the words to the song are as they're being sung until I read the lyrics off the internet or something. Anyway, after I read the lyrics to this song, which is "Lightning Crashes" by Live, it sort of disappointed me. I listened to the song several times afterward, but the image of a woman going through labor and a dead baby remains in my head. ARGHHH.

Anyway, I was really wondering if the chorus was about contractions, which would be really odd because it's a guy singing the song. The chorus:

oh I feel it comin' back again
like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind
forces pullin' from the center of the Earth again
I can feel it.

Here's the entire set of lyrics. )

And here's the music video.

Sooo...contractions or no contractions?

JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING TO INTRODUCE THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT.

This is one of my all-time favorite South Park episodes. Basically, it's more laughs, and you know how all them smart, old people are like, "Laughter's the Best Medicine." If you don't share that opinion, then I present you another tool of procrastination.
Btw, this is the episode about Michael Jackson. Heck funny.

DAY:

MATH - Blehhhhh.

FRENCH - Took a quiz on these things called reflexive verbs. We listened to a French song under the title of "Je l'aime a mourir," and everyone thought it meant, "I'd like to kill you," but it actually means, "I love you to death." Hehehee.

ENGLISH - This class wasn't boring, but I nearly fell asleep.

MT - Blahhh. Mass points is retarded by that first formula we learned today seemed a little bit interesting.

SCIENCE - Easy test. I think.
... Okay, I can't even go on right now because I'm so sleepy, but if I go take a three hour nap, I'll fall behind schedule and end up going to bed at 4 or something.

Only other thing to say was that our cheerleaders during the pep rally suck. Morgan and Meagan Escue laziliy moved their arms around, and some of the cheerleaders were making eye contact and then sheepishly grinning as if saying, "Uhhh this is retarded." The junior cheerleaders are so much more enthusiastic and stuff. Hahaha, Grace Halbert ruined this little routine they did when she did this:

So sleepy. Must work on neg case. GAH!

Gah, male parent is such a spoilsport. He says that if I go watch World Trade Center, I need to go out and practice soccer with him. Ughhhh... now I'm not going to go watch it anymore...

**EDIT**
OMFG! Male parent just said that if I don't go to the movie, he'll smash this computer and won't care if my grade sufferes for not having access to the stuff on this machine or access to the internet... so I guess I'll have to go. I just don't get him sometimes...

DAY:

Math: Geez, I was hoping Mrs. Teer would forget about the logic packets...but someone reminded her. Gah.

French: Boring as crap.

English: Did crap on thesis statements.

MT: Ugh, locus.

Science: Thank goodness we didn't do anything on notes. Basically, we went over the cell cake projects, and then we discussed bullying. Mrs. Smith talked so slowly, I felt my IQ sort of drop just listening to her.

Debate: Reviewed for social studies test.

Pep Rally: Uh, those little orange triangles were retarded, so I went back down to get a "Danger Zone" one.

World History: Uh...I did okay on the test.

I think I'm going to watch World Trade Center Sunday instead of tomorrow.

DAY:

MATH - I'm having trouble with the truth tables. It's not the logic or anything so don't go thinking, "Ooh, Jing has no logic," because I'm pretty sure I do last time I checked. But gah, I didn't understand how to do the truth tables until AFTER we checked the homework, so I sort of crapped up the assignment.

FRENCH - We wrote a letter to our parents telling them to come to the open house tomorrow night or Mrs. Harden will fry us.

ENGLISH - Interesting sub today. She was talking about how more than half her class is composed of Chinese people, but I was thinking, out of all the available colleges, why Samford? And why Arabic? Anyway, she was like, "I see many foreigners in this class," and she went around counting the Chinese people and the Indian people.

MT - Blah. Test.

Lunch - Uhh, if someone says hi to you, don't just make eye contact with them and look away because that's just rude, even if the person's not really your friend.

SCIENCE - I THINK I FAILED THIS TEST. And when I say "fail," I don't mean, "OMG I THINK I GOT A 'B'" but really FLUNK. I'm hoping for at least a 20.

LD - Ugh. I hate debate. How anyone likes debate is beyond me.

SS - Talked about 9/11. Pretty much it.

DAY:

Math ~ After Jing completed filling in Jing's test, Jing doubled-checked Jing's test and hopefully Jing will get an A, or at least Jing is praying for one. Jing later punched a few numbers in Jing's calculator and Jing needs like a hundred thirty-something points to pull Jing's grade to an A, so the best Jing can hope for is a B.

French ~ Jing doesn't want to know Jing's quiz grade because Jing sort of zoned out during Mrs. Harden's instructions on what to write on the quiz so Jing skipped about half of it. French is usually the easiest thing for her but Jing is getting lazy. Poo.

English ~ Jing doesn't remember anything except that Mrs. Corona had to attend a funeral.

MT ~ BLAHHHH.

Lunch ~ Jing decided to start speaking in third-person.

Science ~ BOOORING. Nothing but crappy worksheets and section reviews to do.

Debate ~ Third-person talking turned into elimination of personal pronouns and there was supposed to be a contest between Meghana and Jing to see who's the first person to mess up and use a personal pronoun. But that stopped because Jing kept messing up like crazy. Afterward, Jing asked Erin if Erin liked Mr. Swishy and Erin started laughing. At the very same time, Mr. Swishy passed by. Everyone got all excited about that.

SS - Luther is an interesting movie.

Jing told Mr. Swishy that Jing asked Erin and apparently Mr. Swishy already knew. That punched a whole in Jing's excitement because Jing was hoping for a very shocked Mr. Swishy but Mr. Swishy ended up all aloof and that pissed Jing off. Jing got a closeup of Mr. Swishy's funnyg looking head and Sunny and Jing laughed about that for minutes after Mr. Swishy's departure.

DAY:

Geometry - Bah, polygons! Hehe, you know, like Scrooge. Whatever.

French - Reviewed for test on Wednesday and more reviewing tomorrow.

English - Mrs. Gordon is as boring as crap, and she has this slight lisp that kept distracting me from what she was actually saying. Anyway, we were obsessing over this book Meghana saw on top of the book shelves called Boy Proof--yeah, the one with the orange-eyebrowed girl on the cover. Anyway, it's dedicated to all nerdy girls, but her nerdiness is a bit extreme to what we have at Vestavia Hills. Besides vocabulary, we haven't really started any lessons yet... Anyway, I must remember to bring stupid graduation form.

MT - Gah. I hate circles. They're so... round.

Lunch - Yay, I walked as fast as I could and finally got our table back!

Biology - I barely did any of that packet on elements and the periodical table, and I need some help with some of the stuff on the studysheet because I can't find it in the back of the book or in any of those grooves in my brain.

Debate - I.HATE.DEBATE. I've never, ever hated a subject more than I hate LD debate right now.

SS - Took notes. Took a nap.

Came home and slept for five hours.

DICE WARS!!
That game gets pretty addicting--until you start losing over and over again, and then it's not fun anymore. Basically, you're the purple dice, and you're trying to beat your opponent(s) by conquering all their territory, and you can do that by choosing a group of dice and some foreign territory next to it. The die roll and if your total is higher, you conquer your opponent's territory and if not, too bad. Yeah, well you'll get it once you play.

I'm reading Twilight by Stephanie Meyers, which is about a girl who's in love with a vampire, who's also in love with the girl but trying to resist her so he doesn't go bite her and drain her to death and stuff like that. Teeheeheeheeheeheeheeheeheehee.

I really need to start my neg and aff cases. But I'm too busy trying to master the art of procrastination.

You know what? We should start our own club and count that as an extracurricular activity. Like Breast Cancer Awareness club... PAC (Procrastinators Anonymous Club)...Duct Tape Club (make crafts out of duct tape all day)... And because the club will be relatively small (if it's only us in it), then we can all make ourselves officers (co-presidents, co-captains, co-dictators, or just any title that assures we have performed some sort of leadership). OR we can do something extremely amazing like landing a space in the Guinness(sp?) Book of World Records by baking the world's largest cupcake or producing the world's largest manilla folder. Stuff like that.

I LO-OVE "Let it Rain" by OK Go... so I'm going to pay someone a dollar or two if she's willing to download it and then give it to me on a CD or flash drive. The only place I can listen to the entire song is from Rhapsody, but I can only listen to it 25 times a month. GAH.

DAY:

MATH - Oh my geez, I'm going to get probably a low B or high C on this test, and after Mrs. Teer said there were only 3 As in our class, it freaked the crap out of me.

FRENCH - I hope we don't have to go back to those boards sine, you know, I'm really behind on that thing. Anyway, I got my Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. for five bonus points.

ENGLISH - This class is actually getting a bit interesting. If only we didn't have vocab...

MT - Meh. I wasn't really paying attention to anything Mrs. Teer was thinking. Just sort of zoned out.

Lunch - Gah, stinkin' seniors patio is closed for a reason that won't be revealed to the public. Cafeteria was crowded, and finally there was no where left for us to sit except this crappy table that won't go all the way down and had this incline. But it was a little better than having to deal with the wind like yesterday.

Biology - Meh. Talked most of the time when we could talk. Worked when we couldn't.

Debate - My varsity does like nothing except chat with Spencer the entire time, who I'm sure feels lucky to not have to worry about a novice--Madi was sick today. Meghana was nice enough to share Russell with me.

SS - Did ANYONE read that Pico thing in our source book? I just love this class, no hard work, and I enjoy a good lecture--saves me time from having to decipher all the junk in the source book by myself. Hehe, we had fun doing tongue twisters and showing off our special talents.

Okay, gradually journal posts will become less frequent while my Facebook Notes will become more filled. Of course, my LJ won't completely die, hehehe, because Livejournal is just too cool to lose, except that I don't like to go back and set all the hundreds of entries on Friends, and I keep forgetting to do so anyway. Like now. I'm not going to set it on Friends because I'm going to forget. Or I could just do it now and forget about it later, but whatever.

Ant bit looks much better today although my entire left calf was itching like fiend.

DAY:

Geometry - Gah, stupid test. Nothing interesting today except that the guy doing the morning announcements really needs to slow down on the pledge. I mean, c'mon, it's the pledge of allegiance to the national flag of the Unites States of American. Gotta take your time, bud. And Sushma said that AWARE club is a community service club, but it turns out to be this U.S. Constitution club. Instead I'm doing HOPE, so I can get some hours in.

French - Ugh. I hate this class. It's so boring, and I'm falling behind on the work, especially that review poster we have to do. I'm like the only one that's not finished since I usually just sit there trying to think of things to draw and write.

English - I LOVE the kind of stuff we did today. I just hope we don't have to take another one of those learning style and career strength tests again when we have the counselor talk to us. There's only so many of those you can take before you want to go do something like eat a stick of butter to sedate yourself or whatever.

Math Team - Did Mrs. Teer ever tell us that Compass Bank guy's name? If you're going to introduce a person, especially someone who will be teaching soon and might end up as one of our future teachers, you need to specify a label.

Lunch - SO FREAKIN' COLD! It was twice as worse as Coach Segars's room because in his room, it's just cold, but in the cafeteria today, it was like full-out WIND.

Biology - Yeah, Joann should at least get credit for trying to contain herself when just down-right cracking up after watching me hole punch some paper. But really, Joann, it's just hole-punching...

Debate - I flowed so dang much, the muscles in the upper part of my right arm started getting sore, and I'm praying I don't get like carpal tunnel, or something like that, I forgot. Sumeet should really speak up more because he was practically whispering compared to Rusty, and he stumbled way too much when reading his case at the beginning. I could only catch the value premise and criterion, but none of the definitions--so I was kind of lost when Rusty started yelling at him about his crappy definitions. But Sumeet became more consistant, so that was good. Hehe, I'm not really flowing like an outline with all the contentions, claims, warrants, impacts, and stuff labeled except for the value standard; I just take notes down with bullets. And I need to focus on a more legible penmanship.

Social Studies - Meh. Humanism is cool, and maybe when I have time, I'll re-read the Philosophy of Humanish because that book is extremely informational and logical, even if it is one of the most boring books I've ever read.
